The Christen family's centennial farm story starts in 1921 in Monticello, Green County. There, Dorothy Christen's in-laws started dairy farming. One hundred years later, the fourth and fifth generation lives on the farm -- now a grain operation headed by Dorothy's son and third-generation, Ken Christen. Interest in farming continues with the youngest showing sheep at the county fair.
