In this episode we hear Nadia Igram's story. Her Great Grandfather was one of the pioneers of the oldest American Muslim Communities. She had a typical Mid-Western upbringing but noticed from a young age that she was different. This lead to a life of advocating, uplifting others and social justice work. She holds law licenses in multiple states and is now in the beginning of her journey in a new but related career that supports the most vulnerable women in our country as they embark on a different kind of journey of their own! The episode is titled as such because the world needs more people like Nadia and our communities are better because of people like her.
