I’m a bit skeptical about this bail reform angle. I do agree that Judges should be accountable for their rulings, but bail is also a deterrent for crimes in general. That’s why I think Petty crimes that doesn’t exceed $150 don’t need a bail unless violence or weapons were involved. Looking at the state of America today, it is noticeable that escalating crime rates is due to such bail reforms introduced by the woke democrats. Therefore, I find it appealing to listen to older episodes to reflect on the changes of today and explore different options.
