Pacman

In this episode of 8 Bit Avenue, Matthew Palmer, Katie Talmo, and Reagan Simms nibble their way through this nostalgic and beloved arcade hit, Pacman is an arcade game developed by Namco and first released in Japan in May 1980.  It was created by Japanese video game designer Toru Iwatani. It was licensed for distribution in the United States by Midway Games and released in October 1980.

8 Bit Avenue discusses the Ataribox, as well as Pacman, originally released in arcades in Japan and the US. They play a little “Retro Trivia” where Katie asks Matt and Reagan a few quirky trivia questions regarding this week’s featured retro game. Tune in to find out how well they do!
