We took a brief hiatus after St. Patrick's Day to recover but we are back with your local pod guide to everything Tampa this weekend. We lay out what appears to be an extremely busy May 5th, a.k.a. Cinco de Mayo, in a couple weeks with a multitude of concerts, graduations, parties, events, The Kentucky Derby and more so it's best to start planning now! But enough about the future, we talk about the plethora of events that are happening in our area this weekend such as the Sugar Sand Festival at Clearwater Beach, the Pints and Ping Pong Tournament at 3 Daughters Brewing in the 727area and the Sixth Annual Tampa Bay Kid's Triathlon in the 813area.

The guys also talk about the Tampa Bay Lightning first round playoff series starting tonight and continuing on Saturday at Amalie Arena so go out and support the hometown Bolts in their pursuit of Lord Stanley's Cup. In addition to the Lightning, the Tampa Bay Rays host a series with the Philadelphia Phillies Friday through Sunday so there's plenty to do for the local sports fan, too!
