11.59 media is the best producers of true crime podcasts i have found. Lots of good topics and brutally honest hosts which talk about some pretty hot topics.
I liked the content but when I attempted to discuss content with Op on Patreon. He became angry when I mentioned white privilege, he said I was being racist towards Whites, when I was actually just trying to be politically correct. I apologized and attempted to rectify the situation but he continued and said he lost respect for me. None of which was even what I was discussing regarding the content. I, admittedly, told him how he was acting and was kicked out of his Patreon. It seems he wasn't able to discuss the issues he discusses on the podcast unless they align completely with his own.
Had to give an award to 911 Calls Podcast with The Operator and his trusty junior assistant Jack Luna. I love this fucking podcast! The Operator and Jack Luna are two of the most funniest people I've ever listened to. I have never enjoyed a podcast so much. While the calls are tragic, there is always a happy ending. The banter between these two guys is so entertaining that I sometimes would rather just listen to them than the actual 911 calls lol. I recommend this to anyone and everyone, no matter your podcast genre interest. So if you're a volunteer homicide detective, or you like bundtholes, comedy, real 911 calls and hugs...then this podcast is it! You most definitely will not be disappointed.
Pro-cop right wing propaganda, the operator character is militantly Mormon and sneaks in his beliefs at every opportunity. They rant for an hour before even getting into the 911 call content and their uninformed opinions completely ruin whatever good faith I have in them as a listener.
Amazing podcast, great humor and wonderful content! I generally binge a podcast and after a month or two I get sick of it... that is NOT the case with 911 calls as well as everything else 11:59 media does. I am a life long supporter and platonic lover of these guys!
One of the best Podcasts I have listened to in a long time, I listen to you while working and my laughter at some of the most inappropriate of your conversations get me some very odd looks. I would give you 5 starts but some of your conversations go way off the topic you are talking about which makes me want to skip ahead.
I enjoy listening to 11:59 media content. The content is interesting to me, the humor is my type and it's the ONLY podcast I pay for. Every episode is long and the banter is fun for my earballs lol They do get heavy sometimes, talk politics, religion, current events, music, reviews and end with hugs and happy endings. Thanks guys keep doing what you do!
At first, I thought there was too much chit chat, it was interesting and funny, so I kept listening. It is , in my opinion, excellent in every way. They are really smart, the episodes are very well researched, and they can really tell a story. I don't listen to podcasts that are not respectful to the victims and their families. They seem like they would be really good to have as friends.
The show is good, just don't try and interact with The Operator. He gets upset easy, and is very hateful and rude at times. He'll bring someone down, to make a joke out of you. He'll take it personal. He is a "Mormon" but I believe that is all an act, to save face. Do not think all Mormons are as rude as he is. Kent Chungus is practically atheist and the nicest coolest guy you'll interact with. So if you want to interact with one of them, Kent is the person to follow. Op may ruin your experience with the brand.
“Are you ready for me to push play?” Is just one refrain you’ll look forward to hearing in this well done program.
Hands down the best thing ever created by anyone
As a podcast it's pretty great. The hosts are mostly likeable, unless they start talking about social issues. It kind of ruins it for me.
Absolutely love you guys. Binge listened. Now i have to wait.😕 i need more🤣
Dark, funny & brutally honest! When I first came across this podcast, I couldn't figure out what f*ck was going on. Who are these guys, what is that accent?! I absolutely fell in love with this podcast after 1 episode, Luna & The Op are so brutally honest about their own experiences that it actually makes them quite vulnerable. It's a triumph of banter, real life experience and the dark horror of these calls. They do a 'palette cleanser' call at the end of each episode, to cheer you up, sometimes..Brilliant podcast, really different to other true crime podcasts, Luna & The Op are so funny and loveable. They're really engaged with their listeners too, makes the whole thing a great experience. I think we're all a little obsessed with this podcast now. Hugs❤️
I LOVE this podcast. Let me say though, my first listen when I heard the Operator's...uh, "accent", I almost stopped listening. But, I thought "I will keep listening maybe it gets better". No- his accent does not get better, but staying listening is one of the best decisions I have ever made! They are hilarious, they have great content, and they treat their fans better than any other "celebrity" or media producer. I look forward to every single episode. Op and Jack- "me love you long time!"
Absolutely love the content, style, operator and of course Jack ?
I wish I could give more stars to all of the 11.59 Media shows. I've been an avid true crime podcaster for years now, but these men and the work that goes in is exceptional. They're so generous with their time and I love the fact that their personas are so different, yet they gel together so well. Hugs
This podcast was a like a gateway drug for the rest of the 11:59 podcasts. I absolutely LOVE The Operator (Sam), Kent, and Jack Luna, and listen to their podcasts nonstop on my days off. Some of the best content I’ve ever had the pleasure to come across in podcasts, and I listen to a LOT of podcasts. Still can’t figure out Op’s accent. I’m pretty sure it’s fake but I don’t know and I don’t care because I love it.
