This podcast is wholly unique as far was what I've heard so far in that it feels like a blend of a D&D adventure, a morning radio-show, and a Mel Brooks film. From the goofy sound clips to the puns and silly naming conventions.Looking forward to seeing where they go from here!
I came in kind of late to the show, but once I started listening, I knew that this was going to be one of my favorite shows to listen to going forward. The story, the production, and the humor are so well done. It never failed to bring me laughs and enjoyment when I listened.
This podcast is really good. Like really good. Not your stereotypical actual ttrpg. The players are given the freedom to go anywhere and do anything. The DM is incredibly talented and keeps the story going no matter where the players take it. The podcast is incredibly well edited with music and sound effects. If you're not currently listening, you're going to want to start. I could not recommend this podcast more.
Perilous adventures, heartwarming friendships, Terrible foes and most importantly ALL OF THE PUNS!! what'd not to love?!! 10/10 I could not recommend this show more and I cannot wait to see what else the cast/creators have in store 🔥
This podcast is absolutely amazing. You are drawn into a world that gets you invested not only in the story but also the characters. Player and non-player characters alike. The DM has created a dual campaign that has us all anxious for the eventual clash that we are sure is coming. I look forward to Fridays now not because it is the end of the week but because I know there will be something new and exciting for me on the most recent episode.
I started on the April fools recap and listened to the next 2 in season 2. I really enjoyed the players and the energy at the table! it feels like a bunch of friends having fun and it was easy listening. I started listening while doing some work and before I knew it I was on my third episode! The episodes are maybe a little short for me, but thats probably a good thing for most people! - DicePop Crew!
Absolutely love this podcast! If you are looking for a good laugh and an epic tale, this is it. The sound effects and music are used wonderfully throughout every episode that really bring the scenes and the goofiness to life.
This is an amazing actual play Dungeons & Dragons podcast. The players are clever and hilarious, and the DM is amazing in his ability to deliver a fun story with wonderful inside jokes.
This podcast really showcases how FUN this game is supposed to be. By leaning into cliche's, embracing and encouraging puns and balanced editing, AFQ is able to tell a good story, deliver entertaining punchlines and keep you immersed.
A foolishly fun adventure!I started with season 5 of the show after the trailer and the names and world seemed like so much fun I had to go back to season 1. I've been having a blast following along the fools and really enjoying the quality sound effects, music, and ambiance put into the production. Also the characters are goofy and get fleshed out as you go along, which is fun as you see the characters come together. Can't wait to see what happens and how this story evolves and grows! Keep up the great work!
A Fool's Quest: DnD ComedyThank you, Lucas! Your feedback legitimately made my day! And your podcast The Ballad of the Seven Dice was also a wonderful listen!
