Reasons To Stay Alive is the bestselling memoir of author Matt Haig that relives Matt's battle with depression and anxiety. The book starts where it all almost ended, on a cliff top in Ibiza and charts his road to recovery. Since it's publishing, the book has become a reference point for conversations about anxiety and depression and their effects. It launched a public conversation around mental health and how we navigate it in a modern world.

The book has now been turned into a play, which is touring the UK offering a new audience a way to connect that is both educating and validating. This week we're joined by the play's director, Jonathan Watkins, to talk about bringing Matt's story to the stage and why plays around often taboo topics are a good good thing.
