As you all know, I love telling stories about strong, brave, resilient women. So, when I was asked to sit down with several female authors of a new book called Women in Business: Leading the Way, I knew that this was a project that I would love doing and sharing.

The book itself was released in April and it has 15 different stories of women who own their own businesses. As an entrepreneur myself, I love to hear stories about how other women business owners are managing their day to day, finding inspiration and chasing their dreams, so this book was a perfect fit for me. And, for the next several episodes, you will hear from many of the authors and their personal stories of resilience and empowerment.

Today’s guest is Joan Brothers. I had the distinct pleasure of speaking with Joan and talking about her journey as a real estate business owner in New York City. In a competitive and ever changing industry like hers, she has had to show, time and again, what resilience looks like.
