About Us: We are a pair of hiker-wannabes from Toronto, Canada who are working towards a goal of thru-hiking the Pacific Crest Trail together in 2024. Dan is at the mid-point of his life and about to celebrate a half-century and Chantal is now old enough to enjoy a cold glass of cider in Canada. By the time they embark, she will be able to enjoy a Northwestern craft IPA in the United States. This episode is about the trail and to help our family and friends understand how big this hike is.

Canadians, Dan and Chantal Deveau are planning the longest walk home. Hiking 4,265km/2,650mi between the Mexican border to Canada along the (PCT) The Pacific Crest Trail in 2024. Follow along as they plan for this adventure. They will record + document this journey from the trail, small resupply towns, around the campfire, and when they lay exhausted in their tent.
