Inspired by finding a copy of “Memoirs of a Geisha” at a local thrift store, this weeks episode focuses on one of histories most incredible living works of art: the geisha. We explore their history, separate fact from fiction and celebrate the artistry of these iconic figures. We also take a closer look at the 1997 historical fiction novel, examining its impact on popular culture and  highly controversial portrayal of the Geisha experience.
