How to Start Homeschooling: Michele Holmes
Michele Holmes is a veteran homeschool mom of 30 years with a desire to help people do the upfront work of creating a homeschool directive so they can be confident any decision they make for their family will be a good one.
Michele, a mom of 8, has graduated six kids from her homeschool (four went on to earn college degrees and the other two are currently in college) and is still homeschooling her two youngest.
Married to her high school sweetheart, Ed, Michele lives in the Chicagoland area where she started and led a homeschool co-op that is still going strong 20 years later and averaging 150 – 200 kids each year.
Michele has counseled hundreds of women from diverse backgrounds and in various stages of homeschooling, as well as led workshops about starting homeschooling, homeschooling high school students, and scheduling a homeschool week.
