Words matter in nervous system regulation. They are one of the many pieces of this puzzle.
Dr. Sarah Myhill has studied and helped many patients with chronic illnesses including ME/CFS. Raelan Agle interviewed her here. She has a ton of information in that video and this episode is a summary. Dr. Myhill’s websiteLong COVID study
How fight/flight/freeze are working toward and within ME/CFS from a lay person perspective.
My body automatically kicks into fight/flight/freeze a mind blowing number of times a day. These are the stages from Awareness to Practice that requires my brain to take another road for the same trigger. If you aren’t familiar with fight/fligh
