  • Kandi Jones is a mom to two girls  and wife to Todd. Kandi also serves as the NorthKids Director at NorthChurch and leads a thriving bible study group for moms called, Where Moms Connect.
  • On this episode, Kandi talks about growing up with challenges that started early on. Kandi talks about the realities of being born with a cleft lip and palate, seeing alcoholism up close, the loss of her brother and more. She also shares the pain of miscarriage and walking through hard changes and challenges in her life.
  • Kandi’s honesty is refreshing as she shares the lies she believed about herself, the difficulty in dealing with complex family relationships and words left unsaid after the death of her dad. Kandi addresses the lies and speaks of the truth of Jesus. She reminds us that our identity is based on him, and not the choices of family members, physical attributes, or accomplishments. This is such an encouraging episode for any girl (or guy) who has ever believed she is unlovable.
