Hey, it's Kathy. I wanted to drop some

0:02

bonus episodes this week and share a few

0:04

pieces from the workshop that we're doing. I

0:06

want to tell you something else that's really

0:08

exciting, which is that I created the

0:11

most epic signature course

0:13

I've ever created. It's a combination

0:15

of all of the programs that I

0:17

have taught that mean the most

0:19

to me. And we have a

0:21

new program called Drum Roll Please, Boldly

0:24

Abundant, Elevate Your Worth, Ignite Your

0:26

Wealth. This class

0:28

is the Guide to Prosperity.

0:30

This is about fully

0:33

understanding the inner work that needs

0:35

to unlock so that you can

0:37

allow riches into your life.

0:39

And also, what are all the

0:41

financial opportunities available to you? You

0:44

will leave this program understanding all the

0:46

different strategies that are incredible opportunities for

0:48

you. Financial planners will be

0:50

a part of this. You will understand investing.

0:53

You will understand starting a business. You

0:55

will understand scaling a business. We will

0:58

have experts in all different fields from

1:00

career building to getting paid more at

1:02

your current job, to understanding what it

1:04

is that you need to do right

1:07

now that will elevate your

1:09

wealth. So it is both the inner

1:11

work as well as the steps to

1:13

take. You can go to

1:15

kathyheller.com/bold and it will be a

1:17

three-month immersion program. There is a

1:19

gold level. There is a VIP

1:22

level. This is the program

1:24

for women who are ready to be bold

1:26

and fierce and fully allow themselves the permission

1:28

to be rich. And what

1:30

does that mean? It means asking

1:32

for more. It means raising your self-worth.

1:35

It means setting boundaries. But it also

1:37

means taking decisive action and having

1:39

that true financial literacy so

1:41

you understand what is available to

1:43

you. Whether you're a nine-to-fiver and you want a better job,

1:45

how do you get a better job? If

1:48

you're a nine-to-fiver and you want to get more money, how do

1:50

you ask for more money and how do you get that raise?

1:53

If you're on the entrepreneur path, how do you start a business?

1:55

If you're on the entrepreneur path and want to scale your business

1:57

or raise your rates, how do you do that? to

2:00

understand investing and you want to

2:02

understand compound savings and all the

2:04

different ways that you can start to

2:06

really let money work for you, this

2:08

class is going to feel like the most

2:10

bold decision you've ever made in terms of

2:13

your self-worth and in terms of your net

2:15

worth. Self-worth and net worth are

2:17

intrinsically linked and this is the program

2:19

that will set you free so

2:22

that 2024 is the most wealthy

2:24

abundant bold year

2:26

of your life. Go to

2:29

cathiel.com/bold and make that decision that

2:31

you're giving yourself the gift to

2:34

give yourself full permission to be

2:36

the most abundant version of yourself.

2:39

cathieho.com/bold, I can't wait to see you guys

2:41

pour in there and then we're going to

2:43

spend three months together. So today

2:45

I'm going to share this workshop that we did

2:48

yesterday in case you missed it, take a listen.

2:50

Good morning, welcome

2:52

back, it's great to be back with

2:55

you guys. It's been

2:57

such a beautiful sacred journey

2:59

so far. How

3:01

many of you just met

3:04

me or came into my world last week? Doesn't it

3:06

feel like we've known each other longer than seven

3:09

or eight days together? That's

3:11

awesome. Today we're going to talk

3:14

about all the things that

3:16

you really truly

3:19

truly desire and the things

3:21

that you've already tried and

3:23

we're going to try to understand

3:26

why that didn't work

3:29

and what would make it work. So

3:32

before we get started, what are

3:35

the things that you've already

3:38

done and you're

3:40

still in a place where you're like, I'm

3:42

not waking up to the life that

3:44

I truly know I'm meant to live.

3:46

Have you tried meditation? Have you tried

3:49

reading books? Have you tried certain people's

3:51

programs? Have you, because I am so

3:53

incredibly impressed and proud of

3:55

the women that I meet because we are

3:57

really truly wanting to

4:00

get the nectar out of life. And I don't

4:02

meet people who have

4:06

any, you know, deficiency in the

4:08

realm of searching for

4:10

seeking more truth. I mean, I

4:12

meet women who truly

4:14

show up wanting to

4:17

be on the personal

4:19

development journey living into their

4:21

potential. So I know

4:23

that you guys have been at this. I know

4:25

that I'm not your first rodeo that you have

4:28

spent time and invested time in your

4:30

growth and you read books and you've

4:32

sent money on programs and you've done

4:34

apps. It's kind of like losing

4:37

weight, right? Like typically when somebody wants to

4:39

lose weight, they've tried before, you know,

4:41

they've tried a certain kind of

4:43

diet or they've tried a certain kind of

4:45

boot camp or they tried different things and

4:48

they wind up in the same place.

4:50

And so it's a matter of understanding what

4:52

is it about what you've been

4:55

doing that hasn't worked and so then

4:57

we can understand what maybe will work because

4:59

ultimately we need to

5:02

be willing to keep asking that question because

5:04

we're not giving up on our potential. We're

5:06

not giving up on living into

5:08

the future that we know that we're meant to

5:10

live. That's not an option. So it's a matter

5:12

of like, okay, so what is

5:15

it going to work, right? So I'm just

5:17

looking but lots of

5:19

books and programs, some podcasts, all

5:21

of the above, Inner Child Healing,

5:23

Dr. Joe

5:25

Dispenza therapy, meditation, coaches,

5:30

podcast, prayer, dream, sound

5:32

healing, somatic movement. Yeah. So I have

5:35

some thoughts on

5:39

what will work, so to

5:41

speak, and why things don't work and what

5:44

I think might be at the root.

5:46

So everything is welcome in terms

5:48

of feelings. You teach

5:50

your kids, there's no feeling

5:57

that they should not allow themselves to

5:59

feel. They should allow themselves to feel if

6:02

they're angry, if they're sad,

6:05

if they're feeling excited.

6:08

My mindfulness teacher used to say feelings are like

6:10

visitors. They knock on the door, and

6:12

they just keep knocking louder, louder, louder until you let

6:15

them in. And then once you feel a feeling, it

6:18

tends to leave. It

6:20

might leave after an hour. It might leave after a

6:22

month. But if you feel it, it'll leave. It's there

6:24

to move. Emotion

6:27

is energy and emotion. It needs to move. It

6:29

needs to be seen. It needs to be witnessed.

6:32

But as you go through the journey,

6:34

and as I have been studying

6:37

and really cultivating and understanding

6:39

and awareness, there's one

6:41

thing that the body

6:44

can't process. You know how certain

6:46

things, they're sort of synthetic.

6:48

Your body has a hard time processing things

6:50

that are not whole foods. There's

6:53

certain things that

6:55

are harder to process. And there's one thing

6:57

that we just can't witness. We can't be

6:59

with because it doesn't

7:02

belong. And do you know what that is? The

7:06

word is shame. So

7:08

much of what that

7:10

song is addressing is an

7:12

illusion. It's not even real. Shame

7:15

is not something that we can process

7:18

because it's not something that comes from

7:20

within. It comes from outside. It's

7:23

what we have interpreted

7:25

about ourselves from

7:29

some judgment somewhere outside of ourselves.

7:31

And it keeps us from thriving.

7:34

So my journey has

7:37

been unique to me, just like

7:39

each of yours is unique to you. And

7:41

so my path sort

7:43

of started in Jerusalem and

7:45

then moved into the mindfulness space,

7:47

studying at UCLA mindfulness

7:50

and meditation. And

7:52

then it sort of moved into the world of Dr. Joe and

7:56

Byron Katie. And I've just been on my

7:58

own sort of path. And

8:01

the first piece of

8:03

that path, the most

8:05

amazing gift that

8:08

I received when

8:10

I was living in Jerusalem, even

8:12

more than understanding the law of reception

8:14

and Kabbalah and mysticism, even more than

8:16

that, was the, you

8:18

know how on your computer, if you

8:21

hit Ctrl Alt Delete, it

8:23

will like reset. I

8:25

felt like that time

8:28

reset my identity,

8:31

how I perceive who I am,

8:33

how I perceive who you are, how

8:35

I perceive the world, because one

8:38

of the most profound things I ever learned,

8:41

Rabbi David Aaron said to me, I've repeated it

8:43

so many times, which is you are

8:45

a masterpiece, a piece of the master,

8:48

that it's all oneness and

8:50

that we are each a

8:53

piece of that oneness. And

8:55

inherently, you don't have

8:57

to earn anything because you already are.

9:01

And that is a huge

9:04

delta from what I

9:06

learned about the world when I was

9:08

growing up. And most people unconsciously

9:11

don't believe they're worthy. They

9:14

don't believe that they are enough.

9:18

And they believe that everything has to

9:20

be earned because whether

9:22

they were aware of it

9:24

or not consciously, most people

9:26

who I have met had

9:29

some version of believing that

9:31

love is earned. If

9:33

you're a good girl, you'll be loved. If you

9:35

get good grades, you'll be loved. If

9:37

you lose weight, you'll be loved. And

9:40

so we feel shame

9:43

and we feel unworthy on

9:45

a level that's so insidious

9:48

that it keeps us from the wholeness

9:50

that's already there. There's a

9:52

deficiency, there's a lack. And

9:55

it's usually because of what's passed down

9:58

that our parents... that

10:00

they did the best job that they could, they

10:02

may have felt that about themselves. And

10:05

I remember that was such a mic

10:07

drop and I asked Rabbi

10:09

Aaron to explain to me what does it mean

10:11

that love is not earned? And he said when

10:13

he was dating his wife, he asked

10:15

her, why do you love me? And she

10:18

said, I have no reason

10:21

to. And he was taken

10:23

aback for a second. And then she said, I

10:25

love you because I love you. If I

10:28

had a reason to love you, it would be

10:30

the reason that I loved like, oh, I love

10:32

you because you have this job. I love you because

10:34

of this joke you made. No, I

10:36

just love you. And what I

10:38

came to understand is that the

10:42

divine, which we each have a spark

10:44

of that because we're each in this oneness, it

10:46

just it's loving us into life all the time.

10:49

There's nothing we have to do to earn our

10:51

life force, the oxygen, the soul. Like when

10:54

I had my daughter and three

10:56

daughters, so my first baby, my second

10:58

baby, my third baby, I went through

11:00

11 rounds of fertility treatment. And many miscarriages,

11:02

I had a baby at one point, it

11:04

passed away from trisone the 18th. I

11:07

went through a lot of things. And so

11:09

every time I had the

11:11

baby, I was blown away by the

11:13

amount of love

11:16

I felt instantly for this being instantly before

11:18

they ever said a word before they ever

11:20

did it was like this immediate, the

11:23

love I would, you know, do

11:25

anything for this being. And

11:28

I also remember, you

11:30

know, thinking like, what did

11:32

I do to earn this

11:35

beautiful baby? Did

11:37

I earn it? No, this is

11:39

grace. Like, what could I have

11:41

done to earn her face, her

11:44

hands, her laugh? Nothing.

11:47

It's just a gift. You

11:49

can't earn something that big. And

11:52

you don't have to. So it's

11:55

a really powerful shift.

11:58

And the reason I say this is because we

12:00

talked about if you're gonna paint the walls, you have

12:02

to prime the walls first. You

12:04

cannot pour

12:07

a hose into a symbol.

12:09

You have to have a vessel. You

12:11

have to create the vessel and

12:13

when we don't feel worthy, when

12:17

we don't inherently know love

12:19

is available, we don't have to earn it, then

12:22

it's almost impossible. Because

12:24

whether you know it or not, if you

12:26

start to become conscious of it, you'll realize

12:28

that you talk to yourself

12:30

more than you speak to anyone and

12:32

you're not nice to yourself. You speak

12:35

to yourself more than you speak to anyone

12:37

else and you are not kind.

12:40

You are downright nasty and judgmental of

12:42

yourself. Here's what you didn't do. Here's

12:44

where you're falling short. You

12:46

cannot receive

12:49

if you've created a vessel

12:52

that feels unworthy. So

12:54

that's why we started this whole

12:56

workshop with the worthiness. You

12:58

have to understand. You have

13:01

to literally shift from this

13:03

ego, from this mind, this spinning identity

13:05

that's not even you, into where all

13:07

your truth or all your power or

13:10

all your capacity is to receive. That's

13:12

when you start to have a life that

13:15

is fully abundant. So we're gonna go through

13:17

some of these things, but one of the

13:19

reasons that I believe that it probably hasn't

13:21

worked is because the you

13:23

that has shown up for those things

13:26

is a you that has carried so

13:28

much shame, whether you knew it or not and

13:32

you don't have to carry that anymore. One

13:34

of my favorite poems is by Mary

13:36

Oliver. It's called Wild Geese. It's

13:39

all about this and the very first

13:41

line says it all. She says, you don't have

13:43

to walk on your knees for

13:45

a thousand miles in the desert. That

13:48

first line is the whole poem. You've

13:50

been walking on your knees for a

13:53

thousand miles because you inherently

13:55

believe that that's it. You

13:58

just got to keep earning it because you're never enough.

14:01

That is a problem and

14:04

the more we heal that, we will heal

14:06

the world. You can't heal the

14:08

world across the world if you

14:10

or yourself are constantly

14:13

in shame and lack

14:15

in deficiency. What's the point?

14:17

So that's number one and so

14:21

there are so many ways in

14:23

which a lot of things don't work

14:26

because when people and we talked

14:28

about it, whether you're trying to lose weight or you're

14:30

trying to reach a certain goal, some

14:32

people do that. They put themselves through

14:35

some kind of like intensity and then

14:37

what happens? It goes

14:39

away and they you know they regress or

14:41

they gain the way to get. It's like

14:43

because you inherently have to feel the wholeness

14:46

and the love that

14:48

has to come first. So when

14:50

I design these transformational programs,

14:52

it's like I've already

14:54

seen it. I've been to the circus, I've

14:56

seen the strings, I know it doesn't work,

14:58

I know what has to happen for a

15:01

person to actually have a

15:03

transformation. Another piece that

15:05

makes it not work is that once

15:08

you start to understand spiritually how

15:10

to tap in, how to

15:12

move your vibration, you know

15:14

manipulating your own energy, changing

15:17

your own energy, that's

15:19

really your job. You have to get that. You

15:21

have to get that the remote control to

15:23

your energy is not given over to the

15:25

environment or to other people. It's you. You're

15:28

the one holding the remote control and you

15:30

have to turn yourself on and change the

15:32

channel. That's number one. You have

15:34

to really get that and you have

15:36

to be aware of it all day long. Same way you just

15:38

keep being aware of your iPhone and you plug it in when

15:40

you need to. You got to be doing that with yourself and

15:43

a lot of times the reason that doesn't work

15:45

is because you might

15:47

do a five-minute meditation on an app but

15:49

then you go right back

15:52

into an environment where everyone's

15:54

on a different radio station and

15:57

you just fall back into it. my

16:00

programs I show up live is because

16:02

if I'm going to be their lives,

16:04

you'll find that you're their lives and

16:07

it's different than watching recordings

16:11

because you're having a lived experience

16:13

and it starts to become part

16:16

of your life. And then that's

16:19

why we create these small

16:21

accountability pods because the people who

16:23

make a decision to value

16:26

this and to reach

16:28

for this, if they then

16:30

become part of your life and you're texting each

16:33

other throughout the day and keeping each other accountable,

16:35

you know a friend of mine got sober and

16:38

he said he did it because he and a friend 35

16:41

years ago said, let's reach

16:43

out to each other every single day and

16:46

just let each other know we didn't drink today. They

16:48

haven't missed a day in 35 years just

16:51

knowing that person's going to text and say I didn't

16:53

take a drink today. That

16:55

accountability was huge. The

16:58

other thing that's also

17:01

part of this is that we were

17:03

put here to contribute

17:06

and to serve and our

17:08

deep deep contribution and our

17:10

deep deep fulfillment comes in

17:13

the happiness of being a participant,

17:16

of showing up, of making someone else's

17:19

day better. In order to

17:21

do that, it's not just

17:23

about our own wholeness, it's

17:25

about giving it to someone else.

17:28

And so part of what we've done in the

17:31

method that I cultivate is it's about

17:33

moving you into action once you're

17:36

in alignment because every

17:38

single person you've ever met

17:40

has immense talent truly

17:42

in different ways. They might not have cultivated

17:44

it but they have it. Every

17:47

person has a talent for something. Some people are

17:49

just good at listening. Some people

17:51

are good at baking. Some people are

17:53

good at organizing. Some people are good

17:56

at facilitating and hosting or florallyering. Everyone

17:59

has a talent. a talent

18:01

but it doesn't really matter because

18:04

the thing that's

18:06

necessary is the execution of

18:08

that talent. It's

18:10

not enough to have talent, you have to

18:13

execute, you have to share it and

18:15

so what we do in every one of

18:17

my programs is it's not enough to sit

18:20

around in Kumbaya, your real

18:22

growth and fulfillment comes from once you

18:24

plug in, you have to take the

18:26

action and you have to give it away.

18:29

That's how you wind up having a

18:31

different life and a different

18:33

result. So we sort

18:36

of build it, right? And so

18:38

my journey has been like I spent

18:40

the years in Jerusalem sort of having that

18:42

local call with God to sort

18:45

of connect me and ground me into the

18:48

truth, the beauty, like there's nothing I need to

18:50

do to be loved. You know part of the

18:52

reason, I don't know if you guys know this

18:54

but you know every tradition, every beautiful wisdom

18:56

tradition has its beauty. One of

18:58

the things that I love about Judaism and the reason why

19:00

there's only 15 million Jews in the world is

19:03

because we don't convert people because

19:05

we believe everyone's already intrinsically whole

19:08

and everybody already has access to the divine. You

19:10

don't need to be Jewish to have access to

19:12

God, every person has access to that. That is

19:15

such a difference, that's such a mic drop to

19:17

think you already have it within

19:19

you. So I started with that, that's

19:21

pretty profound is knowing that you are

19:23

needed, you are here, you are whole,

19:26

you are loved. I mean that is so

19:28

big as just a way of looking at

19:30

I don't have to earn love, I don't know,

19:32

I just am, I just have to know it's

19:34

already here, it's already done, number one. Number

19:36

two, I had to learn how to tame

19:39

and self-regulate my nervous system

19:41

which is why I spent

19:43

the time at UCLA to

19:45

learn mindfulness and meditation. I

19:47

got certified teaching meditation because

19:50

this brain, it's ours

19:52

to have dominion over And then we

19:54

realize that the mind is not in the

19:57

mind, the mind is in the body, right?

19:59

The Cortisol creates the cellular killer feeling of

20:01

either were in expansion, were in receptivity, or

20:03

and restriction were in fear. We've gotta get

20:06

ahead of the mine. Was that a get

20:08

beyond the mind right? We're not working from

20:10

the mine, are working from consciousness that is

20:12

actually better than the mind and we have

20:14

to move into that so that we can

20:17

move into our. Real power. And

20:19

then from there I took a lot

20:21

of inspired action and I started building

20:24

a business. And that business was about

20:26

the film and wasn't about a job

20:28

that was about doing my life's work.

20:30

And so what I'd seat she is

20:33

in these programs is these three components

20:35

like first you plugin to your divinity.

20:37

Your soul, your inherent worse. The.

20:39

Whole mess that makes. You part of the whole.

20:42

Then. You plug

20:44

ins understanding and having a capacity

20:47

a muscle to team the spinning

20:49

mine and see the i actually

20:51

spine and memorizer way that suits

20:54

were all your real downloads. Come

20:56

from which is not inherits in here. And.

20:58

Then you go into the world

21:00

and you take decisive action to

21:03

contribute your guests and you come

21:05

for a place of generosity. you're

21:07

not looking. At what's coming, that's You're looking

21:09

at what you're giving and you don't. Realize

21:12

when you put those three things together,

21:14

You can't solve have become a magnet

21:17

for abundance. Your abundant in every way,

21:19

Your abundant and how you feel every

21:21

day. Your abundant in your friendships, Your

21:23

abundant in the opportunities that come to

21:26

obscure Burundian in money, your buddies and

21:28

everything. So that's my thought. Now people

21:30

say to me. These. Are the

21:33

reasons why I can't do this? Why I can't

21:35

complete your program? Anybody's program in one of the

21:37

reasons is what let's go through. All that was

21:39

one of the reasons people say that they can't

21:41

see my program or somebody else has grown ups.

21:43

Tell me one reason you think people say. I.

21:46

See fear Money. Time.

21:49

Money. Okay so let's over as I saw

21:51

come up. Let's. Understand time

21:53

for a second of i. See.

21:55

you know why there is a saying that

21:57

says if you want something done given to

22:00

a busy person. Do you know why? What

22:03

people think, and they

22:05

really do, we think a lot of things that

22:07

are just plain lies. Like

22:10

we literally walk around thinking things that are not

22:12

facts and gets us into lots of trouble. One

22:15

of the things people think is that if they had

22:17

more time, they would get more done. Do

22:19

you think that's true? Do you think if

22:21

people had more time, they'd get more done? As

22:24

I can tell you, it's not

22:26

true because we've done all these studies and

22:29

it's never true. People don't

22:31

need more time to get things done. In fact,

22:33

it's worse. When somebody

22:35

gets laid off or somebody takes a

22:37

sabbatical or somebody has like a two

22:40

week break, they get

22:42

less done. So what do

22:44

people need? Do they need more time to

22:47

get things done? No. Here's

22:49

what we found. When you

22:51

are in a different state, a different

22:54

peak state, a different energetic, a different

22:56

frame of mind, you

22:58

could get more done in 11 minutes if

23:02

you feel bold, yes or no. If

23:05

you feel clarity, you can get more

23:07

done with 30 minutes than

23:10

with six weeks where you don't feel

23:13

that you are in that state of boldness.

23:16

When I teach people how to build a business, I

23:19

say I probably need 40 of your minutes a day.

23:22

People spend on average, you know how much

23:24

time people spend on average scrolling their phone

23:26

every day? It's actually

23:28

about four hours and people

23:30

will look me straight in the face and

23:33

they'll say I don't have time to start a business and I say can I

23:35

have your phone? I just wanna look

23:37

at your screen time. People get

23:39

so freaked out when I say

23:42

that. They don't like it.

23:45

I go just let me see your phone. I go here,

23:47

let's do this. Let's set this thing on your phone which

23:50

will tell you how much you've been on your phone all week, come

23:53

back to me in a week, look me straight in the

23:55

face and tell me you don't have time. Time

23:57

is more valuable than money, isn't it? The

24:00

time. Is something that no

24:02

matter whether you're just say those are you

24:04

on Mars or Barbra Streisand liked, there will

24:06

be a moment when the time is up.

24:09

You. Don't your money with you. That

24:11

people. Will. Span spans,

24:13

man span. Spend their time.

24:17

Doing. All the things that they don't need to be

24:19

doing. And then. I.

24:21

Say well. Actually, if you could spend

24:23

forty five minutes a day doing what

24:25

you really need to be dealing it

24:27

and your whole life. And. They

24:30

say oh I actually now I realize that have forty

24:32

five minutes. In fact I have like three hours that

24:34

I was on my phone. I. Will never

24:36

remember when I'm eighty five. So three

24:38

Instagram rails that I looked up so

24:40

he i. Have the time. Now.

24:43

In. Order for you to have the

24:45

real truth with yourself what's required for

24:47

you to spend the forty five minutes.

24:50

What's. The real reason people say they don't have time

24:52

as they slide out have the time. We.

24:54

We make time for what we want to make

24:56

time for. An eye. Three children,

24:58

one really involve. Last, And I

25:01

have a really big amount of things to do

25:03

with my job and like I have. Long as

25:05

I'm buzzing a big event tonight, I have plenty

25:07

of time. In. Order for you

25:09

to get it done. Yeah.

25:11

You're saying it. Why do people actually Not

25:13

do it? They're afraid. And why

25:16

are they afraid? Because they're not connected to

25:18

their selves. They're connected to this faith cells

25:20

in the brain. So what are they walking

25:22

around with? Shame. I'm

25:24

not enough. I'm I'm scared. Who would I

25:26

be to do this and will have the

25:28

the you're completely. Sold apart

25:31

from yourselves Years for is

25:33

your power. People. Walk

25:35

around afraid if you were feeling.

25:37

Lit. Parades. As if you

25:40

could see further than you saw before. Does he

25:42

have a wider perspective that you're coming

25:44

from a view of reality? That actually

25:46

is what reality as we're all the

25:48

central's exists in. You were feeling your

25:50

place in the order of things. You

25:52

would just move. The. Reason why

25:55

most people don't is. Because it goes back

25:57

to how they feel about themselves. And I'm telling

25:59

you, It so insidious. So

26:01

the answer? As if people say they

26:03

can't deal my program because they don't

26:06

have the. Two hours a week. You

26:08

have it. You. Can move heaven and

26:11

earth if you want to to watch a

26:13

replay or comes a half of that live

26:15

you have it. It's because

26:17

it's a belief. That.

26:19

It doesn't matter anyway, It's a

26:21

belief that even if you showed up, He.

26:23

Go to the gym. Forget it. it won't let. You.

26:25

Know believe that it's actually going to work. So I

26:28

do it. And. There's a

26:30

part of you. That. His so.

26:32

Felt. Uncomfortable sitting on the bench you don't want

26:34

to get in. The game says it's a number

26:37

of. But. Nobody's eating chocolate cake

26:39

on a treadmill. Because.

26:42

There's. A reason why the stress

26:44

Israeli? guess. It's er

26:47

s gotta get are counted

26:49

on soldier. right? So.

26:52

We've. Outside. We've. Got time in fact

26:54

think I'll be a as they'll be a day

26:56

where there's no more time. That was

26:59

outside. Now what about the money?

27:01

Peace People Say I don't have the money.

27:03

So. When it comes to those of you.

27:06

If you're one of those people who wants to start a business or

27:08

grow a business, That business.

27:10

Is on the other side of you

27:13

making an offer? You.

27:15

Have so much soffer. You're.

27:17

Sitting on gold. What does

27:19

that mean? The more offers you make

27:21

the more money make. We.

27:23

Exchange many. Are.

27:25

Things that people need or want. My.

27:28

Friend Allison was. A teacher. And

27:30

they needed more money. Notice.

27:32

Or to do started a look around our house.

27:35

Split. Something up on E Bay. Pillow

27:38

cases. Magnets, She's

27:40

are defined some money sort of making money. To

27:43

start realizing. Oh my gosh, wait I'm just

27:45

thinking about things little bit. This. Way

27:47

I can think about this I with somebody in our class

27:49

is that I want us. I want to take the class

27:51

for don't have any money and I'm a single mom and

27:53

I watch my daughter all day long. C.

27:55

D m me they normally do. I'm going to

27:57

offer to watch someone elses kid while I'm watching.

28:00

my kid, now I'm going to make money doing

28:02

the thing I'm doing anyway. She wound up watching

28:04

another kid. Her daughter then had a

28:06

playmate. They were like 18 months old. And

28:09

she wound up paying for the class and then started

28:11

a business. And she started a

28:13

knitting business. And then she started teaching knitting. And

28:17

she wound up making about $4,500 in the first like three

28:19

months. She

28:21

started making offers. We

28:23

have watched so many people start

28:26

putting offers into the world. Start

28:29

teaching people Spanish. Start

28:32

taking photographs for people's baby,

28:34

you know, when the baby was

28:36

born. Start making things, doing things.

28:39

I had a friend of mine who

28:42

had a real health problem

28:44

and wanted to make some money. And

28:47

so she said she called up this

28:49

Ayurvedic health school where she

28:51

had taken some classes. And she

28:53

said, could I send people to you?

28:55

Would you give me a referral fee? They said, sure.

28:58

So she wound up sending tons and tons

29:01

of people there. She didn't even have to make

29:03

a thing. She was just promoting a thing. And

29:06

she wound up making about $1,000 for

29:09

every person who signed up for this

29:11

like program that they have. So she calls me.

29:14

She's like, you won't believe it. I just made $36,000. I

29:17

went on Instagram every day. I told people about this

29:19

thing that I had done. It's

29:22

unbelievable what's available.

29:25

It's unbelievable. But it's about

29:27

making offers. And then it's about

29:29

understanding that every one of us,

29:32

every business starts with one customer. Every

29:35

one of you knows your first five customers

29:37

already. You already know them. You just haven't

29:39

made the offer. And why haven't you made the offer? You

29:41

don't think you're enough. And why haven't you thought

29:44

you're enough? Because it goes back to what we talked about.

29:47

There is so much money available. And

29:49

also, we get in life what we

29:51

have the courage to ask for. And

29:54

we need to create a bigger vest. That's

30:00

all that is courageous enough

30:02

to receive when somebody even

30:04

now Gives

30:06

you something. Do you say

30:08

thank you so much? Or

30:11

do you notice in your mind an instinct that wants to

30:13

go down? You don't have to do that. Are

30:15

you that you don't have to do that person? Are you

30:17

like, thank you so much? When

30:19

somebody gives you a compliment, it's like

30:22

you look so beautiful. You go. Oh my god.

30:24

No, stop Or do

30:26

you go? Thank you so much Where

30:29

is your capacity to receive? In

30:32

your relationships currently with your parents with

30:34

your spouse with your kids. How much

30:36

reciprocity have you created? How much self-worth

30:39

is creating what you receive in that

30:41

relationship? Where is the standard you set? Hey

30:43

guys Here's what I need and want. Thank you so

30:45

much Or how

30:47

much are you depleted? We

30:50

have to change that in order to change that

30:52

with money as well Right.

30:54

It's time to get bold about that

30:57

But money is literally all around us. There

30:59

are people right now looking for what you

31:02

have There are people right now who are

31:04

looking for the person who can help them

31:06

organize their closet and you know how to

31:08

do that But you're not putting your offer

31:11

out. So they'll go find someone else There

31:13

are people right now who are looking for

31:15

someone to teach them how to do taxes

31:17

by themselves If somebody started business like that, we've

31:20

had people start all kinds of businesses There

31:22

are people right now looking for that, right?

31:25

But you didn't raise your hand You know why you tell

31:27

yourself I'm not enough. They should hire someone else. I'm not

31:29

right I have a friend

31:31

who's coming to the event tonight who started a business

31:33

making banana bread Sells it out.

31:35

Now. She caters has this very specific niche

31:38

thing. She makes her banana bread amazing

31:41

Like there are people right now

31:44

looking for you and it's

31:46

about putting it out in the world We

31:48

had an amazing episode on our show and

31:51

this woman was talking about how she was

31:53

totally broke She had about

31:55

$61 in her bank account

31:58

and she heard Dave Ramsey say If

32:00

you want to turn something into money,

32:03

go home right now and people will

32:05

pay you on the street if

32:07

you bake something and she was like, I've never baked anything

32:10

in my life. And so she goes

32:12

home and she

32:14

makes cupcakes and she's

32:16

like not a baker and she goes outside

32:18

and sure enough Yeah,

32:21

Mignon Francois you guys know who she is. She's amazing.

32:23

She goes outside She

32:25

turned it was a $6 box

32:28

of cupcake mix. She turned it

32:30

into About $25

32:32

and she's like that's amazing So

32:35

she did it again and she started going door

32:37

to door and then she got a little truck

32:39

I mean, it's just amazing and she is a

32:41

multi-millionaire and You

32:44

have to listen to that episode you have to

32:46

listen to that episode Because

32:48

it'll bless your soul. It's like going

32:50

to church. She's amazing. She's truly incredible,

32:52

but It's all right

32:54

in front of you But

32:56

you have to look again You have to look

32:58

again But it is all right in front of you and

33:01

what I say to people often is like if

33:04

you're living from scarcity Or if you're living from this

33:06

place of where you're at What's

33:09

going to be different in three months? Because

33:11

if anything if I

33:13

didn't right now have my offer in the

33:16

world Or if I was missing a way

33:18

to build an audience or if I was missing a way of

33:20

having the accountability of how to Really

33:22

understand sales from a way that's not selling.

33:25

It's just really serving right sales is basically

33:27

I'll just tell you right now. We'll get

33:29

into this inside the program. There's

33:31

four stages to building a business visibility

33:34

Engagement lead generation and

33:36

then the sale takes care of itself. You

33:38

got to be visible first You have to raise your hand you

33:41

have to say hi. I'm here right she went outside with her

33:43

cupcakes. Hi I'm here then there's the

33:45

engagement. You don't just go sell it you offer

33:47

somebody you want to taste it You

33:50

ask people questions you engage. What are you looking for?

33:52

Do you like banana? Do you like cinnamon, right? Then

33:55

the sale takes care of themselves people come to you and say

33:57

hey, can I have that when I started talking

33:59

to song? songwriters about songwriting, people started saying to

34:01

me, how do you do that? And I started

34:03

a class in my living room with 10 people.

34:05

It was like 200 bucks to come to my

34:08

house for five hours. Next

34:10

thing I know, more people want to come. Next

34:12

thing I know, I'm like taking notes going, what else do they want to

34:14

learn? What else they want to learn? I rented a

34:16

theater. I got resourceful. I found a theater that was about

34:18

$100 an hour with 50 seats. Then

34:22

I started charging people to come to that, sold out

34:25

the theater. I was like, Oh my God, I just

34:27

made a few thousand dollars to teach songwriters the

34:29

business songwriting. Then a friend of

34:31

mine said, do it online. I had no Instagram

34:33

account, literally. I had no anything,

34:35

but I decided to create my first

34:38

webinar and do it online. So I

34:40

created this really messy little link and

34:43

I went live. I was pregnant with my third

34:45

daughter. I was seven months pregnant. It was July.

34:47

It was hot, no air

34:49

conditioning back then. And I

34:51

go live and I hadn't even

34:53

practiced the software. I was like, let's

34:55

just see what happened. And I offered

34:57

them an online version of the class

35:00

for $997. It was $1,000

35:02

to learn from me, the business of songwriting.

35:06

147 people bought the class. I made $147,000

35:08

and I will tell you, there was parts of me saying, who am I to teach

35:13

this? There's other songwriters that are more famous,

35:15

but I'm like, but they're not teaching it. I'm

35:17

like, I'm teaching it. Let's go. Next

35:19

thing I know is so much demand for the class. I

35:22

taught it again and I

35:24

had like a two week old baby at

35:26

that point and I made the class People

35:29

didn't bat an eye. We had 441 people take the

35:31

class. I

35:34

was like, oh my God, I just made 800 something thousand

35:36

dollars. Then we did the class again. Then

35:38

one of my songwriting students said, you

35:40

should start a podcast. This

35:42

is so inspiring. So because I did that,

35:44

I started a podcast. The rest is

35:46

history, but it's incredible. You know, when

35:48

I started in my songwriting business, this is something

35:50

else you need to know. I

35:53

was sitting there. I had just quit my real estate

35:55

job that I hated my commercial real estate job and

35:58

I was at home thinking like here. I

36:00

am and I have a guitar and I have a voice

36:02

and I have a pen and paper to write lyrics, but

36:04

I don't have an opportunity. So

36:06

I started saying, why don't I just make the

36:08

offer? So I started cold calling ABC, asking

36:11

for the music department, NBC, I

36:13

was asking these people who worked on TV shows and

36:16

I was terrified and my hand was shaking and I

36:18

thought to myself, well, I'm either gonna

36:20

let my hand shake and put the phone down and

36:22

stop or I'm going to push through this fear and

36:24

work with this fear and make the offer. And I

36:26

started saying, do you need music written? Do you need

36:29

music written? And yeah, some days people were rude and

36:31

yeah, some days people were like, no, don't call back.

36:33

And other days people said, oh, yeah, we're working

36:36

on a show about sisters. Can you write something?

36:38

And I'm like, sure, coming right up and guess

36:40

what? Wrote a song for them. They

36:42

gave me $9,500 to license the song. I was like,

36:44

wow, I just had to make the offer. And

36:47

friends of mine were saying, how do you

36:49

do that? I'm like, it's literally available. You

36:51

can find the email addresses and phone numbers

36:54

of Netflix. Like it's right there. Like just,

36:56

you gotta have the courage to make the

36:58

call, to send the email. So then I

37:00

had gathered about 70 or

37:03

so email addresses to different, they call

37:05

them music supervisors. And I sent

37:07

them an email and it said, Mocha's in music. And

37:09

there was a little cartoon picture of a girl with

37:12

a guitar and then a plus sign and then a

37:14

picture of a Starbucks latte. And I said, step one,

37:16

tell me your favorite coffee drink. Step two,

37:18

tell me when to bring it by. And step three, I'll

37:20

bring you music and coffee. So there

37:23

I was bringing people music on

37:26

a CD or a disc drive and coffee.

37:28

And you know what happened? They started to say, thanks so

37:30

much. Tell me about you. And I was

37:32

like, no, no, tell me about you. Because

37:35

business is empathy. So I started saying, what are you working

37:37

on? What do you need? What story are you telling? And

37:39

people were like, oh my God, she actually

37:41

wants to know what I need. And I'm like, yeah, because

37:43

business is about, you just tell me what you need and

37:45

I'll go get it. And I started

37:47

writing songs and I started getting all

37:50

these opportunities. And by the time I turned around,

37:52

there was a full page article about me in

37:54

Billboard magazine. Then there was a full page article

37:56

with a half page picture of me in Variety

37:58

magazine. People were saying, what are you doing? doing?

38:00

How are you doing this? And I'm like, make

38:02

the offer. What are you doing? You're sitting in your

38:04

house all day. Make the offer.

38:06

It's right there. And I realized

38:08

how many people just couldn't see

38:10

that the opportunity was there because they just didn't

38:12

make the offer. And that's a

38:15

really niche competitive business. And I turned that business

38:17

to hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.

38:19

And that's why people said, How do

38:21

you do that teach me? And then I realized

38:23

for every song I sold, there was

38:25

a line of people that want to know how

38:27

I sold the song. And so I started teaching

38:29

the business of how I did that. And then

38:32

one of those people said, start a podcast. So

38:34

I started a podcast. And I just kept yes,

38:36

and then yes, and then yes, and then and

38:38

why could I do that with having three kids

38:40

and no time? Because I felt the

38:43

vibe. It wasn't about pressure. It wasn't about

38:45

having to do it right. It was just

38:47

show up. You have more than enough to

38:49

give. There's so much money on the other

38:51

side of you having the courage to start

38:54

seeing clearly that you have what to offer

38:56

and you start to put it in the

38:58

world. So time,

39:01

money, then there's also what else? I mean,

39:03

I want to talk about this, you know,

39:05

there's the self doubt piece. But there's

39:07

the way that our friends and family corroborate the

39:09

self doubt because they have it for themselves. It's

39:12

not like they're giving it to you, they give

39:14

it to themselves. When you tell people that

39:16

you're going to take this program or you're thinking about taking

39:18

the phone, what are the things people say that

39:21

make you go, I'm not going to take it?

39:23

Do they say like you've already spent money on

39:25

that? You don't need that? Like, what do people

39:27

say? Because you need to be conscious. The only

39:29

reason, by the way, that you'll give power to

39:31

it is because a part of you goes, I

39:33

know I agree with you. And that's fine. Like,

39:35

you're allowed to have any feeling that I don't

39:37

take it personally. Anyway, it doesn't bother me at

39:39

all. What bothers me though, is when

39:42

I see people who choose a belief

39:44

that they don't realize they're

39:46

choosing and then they keep staying in the same place

39:48

every single day like Groundhog Day. And that's

39:51

amazing, by the way, that some of you have

39:53

husbands that say go for it, right? You

39:55

are often around

39:57

people who have a necessarily

40:01

achieved what they want to achieve.

40:04

And so they start to tell themselves it's not

40:06

possible and then their mind gives them the evidence

40:08

of it's not possible, here's why. But

40:10

your brain will give you the evidence of whatever you

40:13

tell it. So if you start telling yourself, I

40:15

believe this is possible, you'll start seeing evidence that

40:17

it is. If you start telling yourself, I am

40:19

capable of so much more, I am

40:22

whole, I am light, I have so much

40:24

more capacity for genius and you will find

40:26

it, you will find it. So

40:29

I want to celebrate, those of

40:31

you who already joined the program, I'm curious,

40:33

how did you push past this? Because I'm sure some of

40:36

you were scared. Honestly, I'm

40:38

just curious because how we do one thing

40:40

is how we do everything and it's inspiring

40:43

to everybody else. I want to celebrate you

40:45

for having the courage to do that. Essentially,

40:48

the bottom line is that everything

40:50

is a little bit different. You know, my sister

40:52

and I grew up in the same living room,

40:54

even we're different. You know, everything is different. So

40:57

why is this different? First

40:59

of all, I think it starts with, you

41:02

know, whose energy is leading it, but

41:04

it's also really different in structure. You

41:06

know, if you've tried programs before that

41:09

were pre-recorded and a lot

41:11

of times people will do that because they're like,

41:13

well, it's less

41:15

expensive. It's like, well, you get what

41:17

you pay for. You know what I mean? Like, if

41:20

you want to buy something that

41:22

people buy podcasting courses all the time and

41:24

they're like a hundred bucks or whatever they are and

41:26

they don't actually finish the podcast because

41:28

they don't actually implement it

41:31

because more than the information you

41:33

need a process that's going to

41:35

implement and transform. You need

41:37

an implementation and transformation more than information.

41:39

But what we've done is we've developed

41:42

sort of a three part process that

41:44

moves you through. Here's where

41:46

you begin to start to change the energy. Here's

41:48

where you begin to start to understand practically tangibly,

41:50

what are you doing with your career? What do

41:53

we need to do right now? And

41:55

it starts to give you a structure

41:57

because I'm with you live. So

42:00

it's really different than anything

42:02

that's out there and that's why it costs

42:05

what it costs because you're getting the

42:08

actual human time, right?

42:11

And if you were to hire me privately, which

42:13

I don't do, but if you hire a coach

42:15

privately, it's many, many, many times that. People will

42:17

come to me and say, gosh,

42:20

Jack, you're not a therapist, but therapy costs,

42:22

if I break it down, a lot

42:25

more and it's not necessarily gonna help me

42:27

the way that this does. But

42:29

sometimes therapists are amazing and they're worth everything

42:31

that they charge and you should go for

42:33

it. It depends, you have to know where

42:35

you are and you have to know yourself.

42:38

So I want to tell you, I wanna

42:40

repeat a couple things. Number one, this Facebook group that

42:42

some of you have been joining in on, it

42:46

closes on Friday, enrollment for the program closes

42:48

on a Friday, our first class is

42:50

Monday. I will be

42:52

beginning our curriculum with you so

42:55

that you start out a

42:57

whole understanding and a plan

42:59

for the whole program of how you're gonna

43:01

wake up every day and have a morning practice.

43:03

We'll be going over that on Monday. And then Samantha

43:05

is coming in to do a much longer breath work

43:07

session with you because we need to tap into the

43:10

somatic elements to really relax the nervous system

43:12

so that we can set you up for

43:15

success, right? Everybody

43:17

hits the dip. We're gonna talk

43:19

about this in the program. Every single one of

43:21

us hits the dip. We hit our resistance. We

43:23

gotta anticipate that. We gotta have

43:25

tools. We gotta know how to be ahead of

43:28

it because a great basketball player is great at

43:30

basketball because they anticipate what the next player is

43:32

gonna do. You can't be

43:34

blindsided by your resistance. And

43:36

so we're gonna set you up for that. And then

43:38

we're gonna start moving into the combo

43:40

of the energy, sort of moving

43:42

into understanding how to become a

43:45

better elevated vibration for ourselves. And

43:47

then we're gonna start talking really

43:49

quickly about braiding together. What are the

43:51

practical steps in your career? And how do we start

43:53

to do that? And we're gonna be doing that throughout

43:55

the whole program. So

43:57

enrollment closes on Friday. And...

44:00

On Friday, for those of you who come back, we're

44:02

going to do a session tomorrow and Friday. And on

44:04

Friday, we're going to reveal the winner. You're going to

44:06

get headphones as well as $1,000. All

44:08

you need to do is be joining us for the next

44:10

three days. So I'm glad you're here. Those of

44:12

you who are with us today, tomorrow

44:14

and Friday, you'll be eligible. And you also need

44:17

to leave a review for the podcast. If

44:19

the podcast has inspired you, this

44:21

is what the podcast is a lot like.

44:23

And I hope you've already subscribed. And also,

44:25

just go share one of my reels on

44:27

your Instagram. Does anyone have any

44:30

other questions before we hop off

44:33

about any of the topics, any of the things that

44:35

we've talked about? What are you

44:37

leaving here today? What

44:39

nugget helped you today, whether it was

44:41

a business piece, piece about your mindset,

44:44

your energy, what helped

44:46

you just now have encouraged, make

44:48

the offer? So we're going to talk about that. You're

44:51

sitting on gold. You have

44:53

so much to offer. And we're going to

44:55

talk about what keeps us from making those

44:57

offers. It's actually a very

45:00

insidious thing. It's called codependency. We

45:02

worry what people think about us. And

45:05

it keeps us in shackles. When

45:07

you set down codependency, you'll be so free.

45:10

You're going to start creating content. You're going to create a

45:13

podcast. You're going to start making. You're going to make so

45:15

many things when you set down how

45:18

worried you are about other people's approval that

45:20

you don't even realize you are. It's

45:23

so freeing when you just do you.

45:26

You just live your life according

45:28

to you. You won't

45:30

believe. Then you'll charge what you want. You'll

45:33

say what you want. If

45:35

you didn't worry about what people were going

45:37

to say or think about you, you

45:39

could just put an offer out today. But

45:42

it goes back to all

45:45

of that. We've got to delete that.

45:48

So how many of you are making

45:51

this choice to come

45:53

with us on this journey because you want an insurance

45:55

policy that you are going to be in a different

45:57

place three months from now? I think it's a really

45:59

good decision. And those

46:01

people who think that they will

46:04

get different results doing the same thing they've

46:06

done, I don't think so. I think what

46:08

we've learned today is that

46:10

the reason things don't work is

46:12

because they don't work unless we work. And

46:15

how do we work? We've got to plug into a different identity.

46:18

We need accountability. We need consistency.

46:21

And we can't only focus on the

46:23

spiritual elevation. We need to do because

46:26

the doing creates confidence, which creates more

46:28

momentum, which creates more belief. And

46:31

so I think a lot of times

46:33

in the past, people have taken programs that

46:35

don't offer accountability. They're just prerecorded. They're

46:38

not actually there with the mentor. That's a big problem. And

46:41

I think the other thing is you've gotten

46:43

one piece, but you actually haven't

46:45

gotten the other piece, which builds confidence

46:47

and momentum. It forces you to contribute

46:50

and to do and understands the codependency

46:52

piece. And I think you need

46:54

a step-by-step guide. I don't think it's enough

46:56

to just meditate. I think you need the

46:58

meditation, which is going to lay the groundwork.

47:01

And then I think you need to know exactly what

47:03

step to take so that if you only

47:05

have 11 minutes, you take the

47:07

right action. And you have the

47:09

courage to take the right action. You'll change your

47:12

life. If you guys spent 11 minutes with me

47:14

a day having the courage to take

47:16

bold, right action, you will have a

47:18

different life in 90 days. So

47:22

that is why we create what we create. And I would love

47:24

to have you guys in it with us. We're

47:26

coming back for two more days. Tomorrow, we're going to do

47:28

an open house to show you a little bit more inside.

47:31

And not only we get to see it, but we'll

47:33

reveal some of the teachings of each one. Why

47:36

not? You're here. Let's start teaching it. Like I

47:38

say, give all the information. Give it

47:41

away. Then it's about if you really want to

47:43

implement it with me, we do that

47:45

inside this program. It's very, very different. And

47:48

then on Friday, it'll be reserved for

47:50

coaching. So I will be here to answer questions and to

47:52

coach. So you can go

47:55

to kathylr.com/join to join

47:57

us. I fully appreciate it.

48:00

can see your own

48:02

greatness and I fully with every

48:04

cell in my body know that you haven't scratched

48:06

the surface of how much more joy

48:08

you can feel and how much more you can contribute

48:10

and how much more money you can allow in. That

48:13

is a fact and it's up

48:16

to you to decide what you're subscribing to

48:18

and I love you no

48:21

matter what but I really am excited

48:24

because I really want to make sure

48:26

that everybody who's in here you'll feel

48:28

it you'll see you will

48:30

be held and we won't let you fall through

48:33

the cracks that's the way that we set

48:35

up this program. I'll be

48:37

back tomorrow thank you guys for an amazing session and

48:40

we'll talk to you soon.
