Their delight is infectious and makes the podcast enjoyable to listen to. Even the name is delightful, it could mean that the journal is a collection words like a thesaurus or academia is like a dinosaur, once top of the food chain but destined to be extinct. The writing is good and occasionally sparkles. The story is absurd and is there to provide opportunities to satirize academic life. The sound quality is good with an occasional room echo. The voice acting is good with an occasional sour note. But it's the three women that you come back for and wish you could go out for coffee with..... This show is amazing. Literary academia is definitely not my favourite thing, but this show is great and I love the supernatural aspect of it. Excellent shout-out to DuckDuckGo there as well! That really clinched it for me.
