I was trying to help my oldest daughter deal with her anxiety. I had really great advice. I mean ... super duper, gonna really help you advice.

Turns out, she didn't want it.

If you've ever tried to help someone else—a child, parent, spouse, a good friend, a sibling, a co-worker, and they just stub you, I have some advice. (Ha! The irony, right?!)

But seriously, when you find yourself frustrated because you have information or advice that could really help someone else out and they refuse to listen to you, especially when it's a parent trying to help a child, I've got a way for you to not feel so hurt, angry, annoyed fed up, or frustrated.
