"Welcome to Hell, here's your accordion" Gary LarsonWriting: BVoice Acting: A-Sound Quality: AProduction Quality A-Ace Tucker, Space Trucker is a broad comedy like the Ernest movies in the late 1980s (Ernest Saves Christmas, Ernest Saves Halloween....). For many people, this type of comedy is their guilty pleasure. It's not mine but I can still admire the skill.Ace Tucker was an earthling baby that was left on the doorstep of a prestigious orphanage on another planet far away from earth. He did leave the orphanage at 18 vowing never to return to earth. With his Russiancyborg chimpanzee friend, he becomes a space trucker. However, a chance encounter with Elvis may change his plans. This comedy is written, recorded, voiced, scored and edited by one person. I didn't believe it. The voices are really different, the music really supplements the story, and the story is pretty right. I am impressed. However, he lost a couple of points on his Elvis. Too many alums.Though the comedy is a big part of the podcast, the story is a fun space adventure with some familiar faces along the way. I think Ace Tucker will be a number of people's guilty pleasure.Disclaimer: Those who can do, those who can't teach and those who can't teach criticize. I am in the third category. Though I offer my well-reasoned thoughtful opinion, I could be COMPLETELY OUT OF MY MIND WRONG! After all, I thought University of Michigan and Duke were going to be in the final 4 for the NCAA in 2018.
