We have attended the annual ACP Resident & Medical Student Day at UIC, part of the Northern Illinois Chapter meetings every year.

We met with Dr. Jayal Metha, a third-year Internal Medicine resident at Franciscan Health, as part of the organizing team during this conference, and we spoke about organizing these kinds of events, and the value-added by ACP.

We also had the pleasure to speak with Dr. Shikha Jain from Rush University, who was part of the Social Media in Medicine panel alongside Dr. Anwar Jebran, and Dr. Armand Krikorian from Advocate Christ. We spoke about her activities in social media, communication and women empowerment.

We also spoke with Mr. Jeff Burgess, from MassMutual, who sponsored the event, and we spoke about the financial aspect of medicine, and how to prepare for your future as a doctor and resident.
