Whether it is with club or county, Mount Leinster Rangers and Carlow hurler is an automatic starter while he admits he can only remember getting the "curly finger" once. 
2023 was a spectacular year for Kevin where Carlow won the Joe McDonagh Cup and Rangers regained the Carlow senior hurling championship at the expense of old rivals, St Mullins. 
All that is behind him now and having been appointed Carlow captain for 2024 he is looking forward to a good league campaign in preparation for the Leinster senior hurling championship
