On this first episode of Adaptable, my good friend Emilee McGovern stopped by during her Tallahassee stop on the Road to Change tour with the students from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School from Parkland, FL. They spent the summer on the road traveling the country and sharing the story of their tragedy, registering people to vote, and leading a new wave of youth to become more politically involved.
We discuss Emilee's start in the arts, a shared experience of losing our mothers at too young of ages, how the gun violence epidemic got her heavy into photojournalism, and much more. Personally, I had an awesome time with this conversation and learned a lot about Emilee and I hope that you do the same.

I can't thank Emilee enough for being my first guest on the show and being as open with me as she was. I can't wait to see where her work continues to take her in the future.
