This conversation was 16 years in the making and I'm delightfully pleased to finally have been able to make it happen! We rewind to when we toured together in the early 2000's, being on the same label as Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco & more, his relationship with alcohol, ways he has found to deal with mental health issues, and a mess of other topics. The first tour I ever went on was with Unsung Zeros, Punchline, and MAE, so this conversation takes us back to when I was 19 years old and clueless about what life had in store for us. Steve has continued making music all these years later and I was thrilled to be able to get him on the phone and pick his brain about how he keeps it all going.
We talked about a lot of different things that I promised I'd link in the notes, so this is where I'll do that...
