Today's recovery tip today is the topic: Write and Carry a Gratitude List. Using the back of the business card you can start making a gratitude list. This business card will be substituted by a piece of paper as you increase your awareness of gratefulness in recovery. What's on the list are things that you are now grateful to have since a started recovery. As you grow in recovery, the major items will go as far back as to the very crisis that lead you into recovery. Events like a wreck, a divorce, a judge, an eviction notice, a pink slip from your boss; these things can be major 'thank yous' someday soon. On challenging days pullout and read your private, hard-earned gratitude list. Add to the list as you continue to stay clean and sober. Write and carry a gratitude list!
