So, should I be paying for my child's college at all?
This is another question many parents ask. Many parents did put themselves through college with jobs waiting tables and similar jobs.
So why can't this generation of college-aged students just do that?
The answer is that, due to the fact that the cost of college has risen so disproportionately over wages, it's nearly impossible for students to do that.
And while students can afford to take on some debt, the student loan crisis has become so monumental that it's now affecting certain markets--as well negatively impacting our young people's ability to succeed with their college degrees.
So what's the correct answer? Tune in for the answer.
During each episode, Aaron Greene, Founder and CEO at College Liftoff, and his staff of counselors help students and families reduce the cost of higher education, navigate the application process, and make well-rounded decisions by evaluating the modern metrics of education.
College Liftoff emerged from Aaron’s desire to help students learn to treat education like an investment, accounting for the career, academic, and financial factors that shape this decision. He has also forged a debt control calculation to set student loan debt limits for each student. College Liftoff opened its first office in Columbus, Ohio in May 2009.
