AFTERBUZZ TV — Samantha Ireland, Jen Brown and Shannon McCormick join hosts Megan Salinas, Katie Cullen, Patrick Dees, Stacey Shuttleworth and Mark Donica to talk the year of amazing content to come out of Rooster Teeth at RTX 2017.

RWBY (pronounced the same as “ruby”) is an American animated web series created by Monty Oum for Rooster Teeth Productions.The show is set in the fictional world of Remnant, which is filled with supernatural forces. The series focuses on Team RWBY, which consists of Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long. The first episode was released on the Rooster Teeth website on July 18, 2013, following an exclusive screening at RTX. The show was later renewed for a second season, which is scheduled for release on July 24, 2014, following its exclusive screening at RTX. Following its announcement, the show became a viral hit, resulting in many cosplays and fan adaptations. One of the fan adaptations was a video game, titled RWBY: Grim Eclipse; the game was later officially adopted by Rooster Teeth, and is currently under development. It received positive critical reception, particularly at the show’s soundtrack, and anime-influenced animation.
