Early last month on critter of the week, we talked about Leopard Seals. Since then we were contacted by those actually working with these fascinating creatures, and they have just had a pretty busy week - a pup was born, only the second ever born in New Zealand - the first in 40 years. Dr Krista Hupman, cetacean biologist at NIWA tell us more about what she does and the implications this birth has on the research of leopard seals worldwide.
