Our guest on this week's episode is Christian Calliham, the founder, and general manager of the Aggieville Showdown. We learn about Christian’s past growing up on a farm in Colby, Kansas, and being heavily involved in 4-H and FFA. Christian graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Agribusiness with an emphasis in Marketing. During his time in college, he was involved in several organizations including National Agri-Marketing Association, Kansas State Horse Judging Team, and the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity. We talk about several of his internships during college including working at three national livestock shows and the Kansas Department of Agriculture. He now resides in Kansas City where he is employed by VMLY&R a full-service marketing agency where he specializes in public relations and events for agriculture clients.
