Interview: Steve Foxe - Dead X-Men, Spider-Woman (Carola Borelli) coming soon: ALL EIGHT EYES trade and the X-MEN UNLIMITED

  1. Steve Foxe, you’re a busy man with Dark X-Men releasing now, Spider-Woman #1 out November 29th, and Dead X-Men coming out January 31st, thanks for joining us on the AIPT comics podcast.
  2. You’re taking part in the big Spidey crossover with the Spider-Woman Gang-War story, what has it been like working with the spidey office? Are there gang war group meetings?
  3. How does it work to tie into a larger event, are there prompts you must hit in each issue, or a beginning and an end to reach?
  4. Spider-Woman has one of the biggest fandoms of any Marvel character, is there a favorite run you have for the character, or one you brushed up on before tacklingi this new series?
  5. Your fingerprints are all over Spider-Man right now, as you’re also using Judas Traveller in the Marvel Unlimited comic X-Men Unlimited! What made him the right fit for your villain?
  6. Has it been hard getting into Firestar’s head with co-writer Steve Orlando?
  7. You also have the All Eight Eyes tpb out the same day on the 29th (I think I’m quoted on the dang thing), I love the use of spiders, they aren’t used enough in horror these days! You’ve got a storied history with horror comics, what made giant spiders the right project to do next in the horror realm?
  8. With Dark and Dead X-Men penned by you, if there were a trilogy of sorts, what would the adjective be for the finale?
  9. You mentioned recently on X-Men Monday Claremont and Cockrum were on top of mind with Dead X-Men, any particular parts of their run that worked for and maybe were on your mind when crafting Dead X-Men?
