Alaskans - At the Ready for the title came to mind when I thought of all those that live in small towns or villages looking for jobs or preparing for college. Preparing ourselves for successful careers is only a step towards supporting ourselves, our families, and our communities.A lot of people back home work hard to get the things they want. Ever since I was a kid, my mother would tell me she wants to work hard and get her degrees so she can spend her days out at camp. I chose a picture of our tent frame at camp hoping it inspires everyone to work hard towards the end goal to kick our feet up and enjoy the beautiful Alaskan country.
