As the Moon governs the waters of the Earth, so she governs the waters of the body. We need the Moons influence to help bring hydration to the dehydrated areas of the body that the Sun creates.

The Moon is associated with the Yin, receptive, or feminine energy. She is receptive of the Sun's radiance so she can shine brightly in the night sky. Without that, she has no light of her own. She is the Queen to the Sun's King.
