A comedy that takes the characters from a Scandinavian folktale and gives them contemporary dialogue as well as attitudes. It's not solely for parody, but there's a Shrek-like irreverence that these characters hold for the traditional folktale plot and destinies that they are trapped in, that is very entertaining.
