This is an example of a strong season finale. I remember being unsure if there was another season, and while I wanted more, I didn't feel cheated in the time I had spent with this show already. That's what you want from a season finale on top all the tension/feelings/sense of growth.

This is my favorite season finale of an AD because it wraps things up in a satisfying, climactic, character-based way, while bringing something new to the table with its unique treatment of anxiety. This episode makes Season 1 satisfying on its own and gets you excited for Season 2.

The buildup to Season 1 Finale was not paved with the encounters retold in the first 4-5 episodes. Episodes 9&10 were paired adequately although I wasn’t a fan of episode 9, the finale thankfully introduced us to a potential new Journey that will enhance Season 1 hopefully .
