This time, Jordan talks about the 1981 film Reds, the story of socialist journalist turned Soviet functionary John Reed and his wife, fellow journalist  and radical Louise Bryant. We discuss left wing politics of the time, the parallels between the events of the film and the counterculture era of the 1960s and 1970s, and the Hollywood Liberal sheen placed over the proceedings, not least due to the presence of sexy, sexy stars Warren Beatty, Diane Keaton, Jack Nicholson, and Paul Sorvino.
