Many people have made it safely to Canada to carve out a new life for their families. It may have been civil unrest, war, famine or any number of things forced many people into wanting to start a new life for their family in another country.

Meet Michael Hadgembes. Mike works hard at 2 jobs everyday in London, Ontario. He works hard to help his parents who, when Mike was very young, decided to pack up and move their family to another country. They wanted their children to have opportunities to be what they wanted to be in a country that was safe to do so.

Mike tells us of growing up in Canada, visiting his parent’s homeland for the first time and much, much more.
