In late November of 2016, Joel Guy Sr and his wife Lisa were preparing for a Thanksgiving family feast, like pretty much the rest of the American population. The couple lived in Knoxville, Tennessee, and were really excited and grateful to have their four adult children and their families over to their home for the holiday. Their joy that holiday weekend would soon turn into tragedy however, when their son Joel Michael stabbed them both to death.

The crime scene that was left behind was a truly graphic one, trigger warning for extreme brutality.
