Uh Next, I wanted to talk a little bit about podcasting.

Now, recently I have uh changed up sort of some of this look and this

is actually done intentionally because I wanted to give you a little bit of education

and describe to you why I went with something called podcasting two point oh.

Now, podcasting two point oh, is a very dumb name for a very cool set of protocols that have been released.

There are hundreds of these new protocols,

but I wanted to make you aware of four of them.

And it's the reason and these four are actually the

reason why I have moved over um from a sort of

sort of a centralized uh CD N over to something that's a little

more open and maybe a little more decentralized.

So the first couple of things that you'll notice

is when you start to watch these

or listen to them, depending on what

browser you're using or what application you're using,

you'll notice that I now have the ability to have chapter.

Now, this is important because it allows you to skip forward and backward on

maybe some long podcast to go back and listen to something that you,

you know, wanted to check out from before or something that uh you know,

you went back and wanted to send, send to a friend

along with that chapter. We can now also change the images in the background.

And the reality is, is this all makes it a much more sort of interactive experience.

And along with that is uh the ability to have the value for value model.

So if you felt like you wanted to give back

to any of the podcasters that you listen to routinely,

you can do that anonymously quickly

and with no fuss, no muss on the Lightning Network.

Now, the catch is you need to

look at these podcasts or listen to these podcasts on something that, that

So the reason that I'm describing this is maybe not,

there's now two icons that sit in the middle of the screen.

One is a microphone that has kind of this very colorful lotus flower behind it.

Now, I tested out probably about

20 of these over both I OS which is Apple

And these are the two that I feel like are probably the best from a user perspective from,

from like an ease of use perspective

and to try out something clean. So

guru. And that's my official recommendation

for I OS and the blue headphones are for pods.

Now, they also offer these both for each other.

So you can use pod verse on I OS and you can use um podcast guru on Android as well.

These are just my personal preferences.

and I'm gonna search for it and tap on it and then in the section up on top that is the search section I'm gonna type in,

but I did just want to slightly address and if you've listened to any of these already and, you know, me personally,

you know, that I'm way more of a conspiracy therapist than I am a conspiracy

theorist. And one of the things that podcasting two point oh allows us to do

is to not be beholden

to big giant corporations. So

if Apple decided one day that they didn't like the lyrics to Andy,

that Andy sang and minding my clarity or

they didn't like something Brian said on divide,

they could just cut us off for no reason and leave us out in the cold

with podcasting two point oh, we continue

to own the art that we've created.

So it makes a lot more sense to take a few minutes to have these little extra steps

and it costs a little more money to host it.

And it like is a little more effort to do all that chapter and stuff.

But I think it's definitely gonna be worth it in the long run because we're moving to much more of a decentralized

model all over everything.

And we're just at the beginning of this revolution.

And so I think that it is very important to continue

to do this and have this be top of mind.

And I appreciate things like Spotify and Apple Music and, and I really, I really do

and they've been very generous in the past, however,

giving somebody the ability to turn you off at any time

is, is kind of crazy and I just want to kind of retain that control. So again,

you know, it's just uh something that I feel like it's important to mention
