From an old converted barbershop inside the area’s largest all-nude strip club comes the one hundredth and first episode of The Music & Arts Guild Showcase with special, guest host, Kate de Fuccio.

AM1700 is joining forces with The Music & Arts Guild to form a supergroup not seen since The Birthday Party and members of Einsturzende Neubauten and Magazine teamed up to form Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

Focusing on local music with weekly live, in-studio performances, the Music & Arts Guild Showcase aims to spotlight bands that are making great music in the area. James handcrafts each show by picking out only the best in local music.

In this week’s episode, the Mindful Dynasty returns to the station to kick off the next century of local music. Jason and Toshana give the listening audience and exclusive world premiere of some brand-new, as-yet unreleased material.
