In his letter to the church at Philippi; the Apostle Paul exhorted the disciples.“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”  (Philippians 4:6-7) (NKJV)The Apostle Paul knew how easily it was to get distracted if they were not focused in prayer and gratitude. The attacks on the early church were horrendous in that their lives were daily threatened. Paul himself wrote much of the New Testament from prison. Prayer was needed to maintain the peace as they endured trials of every kind.Today there is much persecution against those who stand for the Word of God and Jesus Christ. Persecution to stop preaching and teaching in His Name. Persecution to stop speaking about Him and in some countries to deny Him.Today’s teaching is the second part of the two part message “ How To Stand When Everything Else is Failing” will awaken your core to the reality of Christ living inside of the Born Again Believer. This Christ life is the life which empowers us to walk in peace when everything seems as though it is failing.This teaching takes a closer look at those who have learned how to stand amid aversity.
