More and more middle of the road pundits in the conservative media space are coming to the realization that what is happening to America is akin to death: completely transformational and utterly irreversible. They are “baffled”, which means that they are entering into the first stage of grief: denial. “How could have this happened to us,” they ask. “Surely, it can’t be,” they say.
