The day after the attack on the Capitol big tech companies took steps to limit speech they felt were inciting violence.  This came in the form of Amazon removing social media app Parler from its servers, Twitter banning the Presidents personal account, and Facebook blocking posts with "stop the steal" wording. But in a nation of Free Speech, how is this possible? What does the Frist Amendment have to say when censorship comes not from the government but from corporations? 

This week we examine the First Amendment and its relationship to the current debate around censorship. We discuss what the future of the nation looks like in the age of the internet.
