In John 15:5, Jesus uses the analogy of a vine and branches to illustrate this point, saying, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

It's a simple yet powerful reminder that we are not self-sufficient, but rather entirely dependent on Christ for our spiritual growth and well-being. When we stay connected to Him, we can bear fruit that glorifies God and blesses others. But when we try to go it alone, we inevitably wither and fail.
