25 Years of a movement called 'Kelyane Bhashantar'. It can be simply described as 'A quarterly periodical dedicated to translated stories' - but every issue is powered with passion and responsibility. Passion about literature and responsibility towards the art of translation.  The stories from lands and times unknown to common Marathi readers - German, Russian, Japanese, Spanish, French and many others. Ujjwala Barve talks to Anagha Bhat and Sunanda Mahajan about selection of content, views about translation, process and the long journey.  Kelyane Bhashantar has gone far beyond than just a publication of translated stories, it has culminated into a cultural movement nurturing budding translators to live shows.  Listen on!

जाणकार मराठी वाचकांमध्ये 'केल्याने भाषांतर' त्रैमासिक न वाचलेला विरळाच. फ्रेंच, जर्मन, रशियन, जपानी आणि अनेक भाषांमधून आणलेल्या गोष्टी मराठी वाचकांपर्यंत पोचवण्याचं काम 'केल्याने भाषांतर' गेली पंचवीस वर्षे करत आहे. या प्रवासाबद्दल आणि गोष्टींची निवड, प्रत्यक्ष प्रकाशन, भाषांतराबद्दलचे विचार यांबद्दल उज्जवला बर्वे बोलत आहेत या मासिकाच्या संपादक सुनंदा महाजन आणि अनघा भट यांच्याशी. आता खरं तर 'केल्याने भाषांतर' हे केवळ त्रैमासिक न राहाता एक चळवळ बनलं आहे.
