One of our faves! They are funny, relatable, and always delivering some great stories.
What an absolute banger of a podcast!
Love the banter, even though I may be in the minority...at least that's what Em and Christine make it out to be, but I personally love it!
The Coffeehouse Theatre Co. (though our podcast has nothing to do with the paranormal or true crime) absolutely LOVE this podcast. It's actually the reason Rachel and I decided to make our own! Totally recommend:)
I'm always excited to hear what terrifying tale Em and Christine have unearthed to discuss! I particularly enjoy their listener episodes and look for them immediately at the beginning of each month. I've been listening since 2016 and they do such a good job of balancing the creepy content with their real-life-personas that they almost feel like old friends now.
Enjoyable podcast and one of my top three true crime podcast. I definitely prefer the ones where I feel like I’m hanging out with friends while listening and that’s exactly the feeling I get with this show.
Both paranormal and true crime in one! Funny as all heck also. We quote these ladies all the time. This is a must listen.
Em and Christine and funny and fascinating ladies! They talk milkshakes & wine facts, sometimes some grisly cases and horrifying hauntings...and finish up with Geo's, the puppy, horoscope. They're friendship shines through in each episode and makes you want to be part of it.
Most of the time I enjoy listening to this show but it would be good to get a more equal balance between the paranormal and true crime elements. Often the opening banter and paranormal section completely dominates meaning that the true crime seems like an afterthought. However, this show is very enjoyable overall and the hosts are endearing.
No matter what mood I’m in I can count on ATWWD to put a smile on my face and a chill in my soul. Such great chemistry and a dang good listen!
I’ve been listening since the beginning. I love this podcast. I’m a big true crime and paranormal fan. I feel that Em and Christine do their stories great. I also love that both of them have discussions throughout their stories. Their podcast helps me get through my day. I don’t mind that Em interrupts Christine’s story because it shows that she’s interested. You both are the best! ❤️❤️❤️
I love murder and the paranormal, and I love the milkshake side of these drinks--not a huge fan of compulsively consuming alcohol with hobbies! However, the issue is with 1/2 of the hosts. The crime host is a smart, charming person who does good research, tells the story well, and is an attentive listener. She's lots of fun to listen to and listen along with. The paranormal host is just a bummer. She told a story about Zozo, which everyone knows is the demon equivalent of a jackalope--in other words, she can't be doing her research. She frequently puts down her crime counterpart and just has a rude, lazy, cynical attitude that totally puts me off. She reminds me of a middle school kid who just gets meaner and meaner until all their friends drift away. I can't believe she still has one left. Had to stop listening for her.
I thought I hated podcasts. They seemed like weird talk shows and I had no real understanding of why people watched them. Then I stumbled across this. The name had me immediately, and when Audible pushed everyone to try podcasts, I listened to the first few episodes. And then I discovered that I needed autoplay and had to go find a new way of listening so I could absorb this as quickly as possible. I caught up completely in about a month. I could not stop talking about it. I paused episodes to attempt to explain long-running jokes to my friends. I went to find their website. When Em was tagged on TikTok the other day, my girlfriend said she'd seen "my girls" in a short video and wanted me to know. This somehow balances the darkness of some of the stories (and they can get DARK) with fun just right to keep me hooked, and the last two weeks I've gotten to listen to the episode the day it comes out. It's now a great part of my Sunday. Most of this is just happy ranting, but I love this and I'm grateful for my broadened knowledge of true crime, hauntings, and podcasts.
Absolutely love this podcast! It's the first podcast I listened to consistently.
I have been listening to this podcast for about a year now and I'm finally all caught up. I am now sad that I have to wait for the next episode to air like I'm waiting for my next HelloFresh box to be delivered, but here we are. Would recommend this podcast 1 Billion times to anyone who loves the paranormal, true crime, and laughing. Thank you Christine and Emothy for being amazing, and to Eva for always writing that down!
These loquacious young people whether medicated or not are like music to the ears. They are entertaining, weird, lovable, hence very relatable. They may not always be perfect but I missed the podcast where they claimed to be. If you like stories about crime, paranormal and the simply weird, this is good entertainment.
Love this podcast! There are *occasional* moments where it gets hard to listen to due to the violence, gore, etc being described – but for the most part, I really enjoy it. Fascinating topics, but more importantly, likeable hosts with a great (friend) chemistry.
I love this podcast because the hosts are very entertaining, even when telling horrific stories about the supernatural and True Crime. As of now my favourite Episode is number 72. Keep ist up!
OMG YOU GUYS! I love your show. I listen to podcasts all day at work (livin' the life, yo!) and yours is one of my favorites! Then, when I'm at home and all caught up on current podcast episodes, I'll go back and pick what looks like a good one, and listen while I knit. Y'all are also the ones who turned me on to Dark Air with Terry Carnation, so double thanks!
Love seeing paranormal and true crime in one place and this podcast is such a fun listen!
