Popular Reviews of Another Buffy Podcast

I am not a podcast person, typically, but I heard good things about this podcast and as a huge Buffy fan (I run a fanfic archive) it is *chef's kiss* amazing. Trevor and Kristin thoughtfully break down the most iconic moments of the series while respecting the characters, though also without shying away from the series' more problematic elements, particularly those that were glossed over or romanticized. There are things in Buffyverse that didn't age well at all and they do not hesitate to call those out. Still, their love for the show (and excitement to delve into each episode) is palpable, and the result is something that is somehow simultaneously nuanced critique and utter fan flailing, and all the more credible because of it.

If I could give it zero I would.If you love a podcast where the presenters simply hate on every little unimportant thing, whilst ignoring what the show is about then this is for you. Trevor is honestly not the problem, Kristin unfortunately allows her love for a certain character guide her view for the rest of the show. How they can say they love the show, is bizarre considering how much they hate most of it and for mostly trivial things.They blame some characters for everything before allowing other character's flaws to be the writers problem.Not a serious podcast reviewing and critiquing a show. Simply two people bitching about plotlines and characters they disagree with.

I really enjoy listening to Trevor and Kristen revisit each episode and gush about what they liked. Their knowledge of and love for the show shines through, and they aren't afraid to share what they love as well as addressing some of the more problematic elements and aspects of the show that haven't aged well. I am excited every Tuesday when a new episode drops and really looking forward to what is coming up as they move into Buffy season 4 and add Angel the Series into the mix. (Also, Trevor's art is awesome!)
