We spent months trying to get in touch with legendary record producer / engineer / recording guy Steve Albini for an interview, and we couldn't believe it when he got back to us and agreed. However, we decided to mix it up this week and let Steve take over the podcast entirely for one episode and just do all the talking.

Steve Albini needs no introduction, a few of his credits include Nirvana, The Pixies, PJ Harvey, Robert Plant, Jimmy Paige, Jarvis Cocker... the list goes on. He also has a unique approach to recording and view to the role of producer and making a record. In this episode there's no news, no tips from us, no cop alarm - just Steve giving us extreme insight into his methods, his story and his take on making records.
