This week we explore the 5th century heresies of Nestorianism and Eutychianism. In an attempt to explain the nature of Jesus, both of Nestorius and Eutychius, along with their followers, committed different heresies. The debate over Jesus human and divine natures was settled at the Council of Chalcedon in 451 AD. Even still, versions of these heresies are present today.
