We often think of Miami as the gateway to the Americas.  Miami has also begun to attract founders from around the globe including Nadav Solomon president and co-founder of Tabit, a fast-growing Israeli hospitality-tech company that is making North Miami Beach its headquarters for its U.S. operations.

The company began setting up in South Florida just before the pandemic hit, with the assistance of the Miami-Dade Beacon Council and Enterprise Florida. To fund its continued U.S. expansion, Tabit recently raised $35 million in venture capital, for a total of $65 million. 

Nadav was a lieutenant commander in the Israeli Navy in charge of  command and control systems before studying biotechnology and food engineering and working at Ernst & Young as a senior strategic consultant for the food industry.

Why South Florida? “I think for a tech company to reside here and build its operations here is the best thing you can imagine for an hospitality tech startup” responded Nadav.

In the tech world Juan Pablo has co-founded Idea.me, Miami Angels, the Lab Miami, Lab Ventures & Wonder (purchased in 2020 by Atari).
