With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, it’s easy to worry about being alone. It is awful that we are forced into thinking that we cannot celebrate a holiday if we have no one to celebrate it with. Or further, that we cannot celebrate a holiday if we want to celebrate it by ourselves. It is unrealistic and devalues our sense of self.
