Dr. Matthew Frieman joins to discuss his expertise, the state of development for treatments outside of vaccines.  He takes us through three main categories of development, namely existing drugs, antibodies, and new drugs.  He explains how the regulatory process work, how more funding speeds up the process and takes stock of our overall level of progress for these treatments.

Dr. Frieman is an Associate Professor of Microbiology and Immunology at University of Maryland School of Medicine
