General Hertling's experience started at the U.S. Military Academy in 1975 and since then has seen him move up the ranks with service with intergovernmental and coalition initiatives, working with the Executive and Legislative brands of the US Government and many foreign nations. He also spent over 36 months in combat and commanded at every level from platoon to field army.
